The NasGas journey began in 1952, founded by Malik Tahir Mehmood. Operating through North Appliances Services (Pvt.) Ltd., the business established its foundations in domestic appliances, with a focus on dependable products, engineering, and long-term development.
In 2000, NasGas introduced its first major visual identity refresh, reflecting the company’s expanding appliance portfolio and its progression in product design, quality, and evolving household requirements. The refreshed identity represented an important step in the continued development of the NasGas brand.
Following the passing of founder Malik Tahir Mehmood in 2015, leadership transitioned to Malik Ahmad Tahir, Chief Executive Officer, and Malik Khawar Tahir, Managing Director. Under the next generation of leadership, the business continued building on its established foundations while advancing toward a broader and more modern appliance portfolio.
In 2018, the NasGas identity evolved into NG Appliances, reflecting a strategic expansion beyond its traditional gas-appliance heritage and a major move into electrical and broader home-appliance categories. The new identity represented the company's evolving product direction while carrying forward the heritage and experience established under NasGas.
In 2026, NG Appliances renewed its visual identity to reflect the company's continued modern evolution. The refreshed identity represents the progression of the business through new technologies, product advancements, and the expansion of its appliance categories, while maintaining continuity with the heritage established since 1952.
Since 1998, NG has steadily expanded its manufacturing capabilities, evolving from metal fabrication and finishing to advanced R&D, casting, molding, CNC machining, laser technology, and motor winding. Each development has strengthened our manufacturing foundation and supported a long-term journey toward greater precision, innovation, quality, and self-reliance.
